Jack McCloskey enters his 38th year as "Coach" at one of the most talked about basketball camps in eastern Pennsylvania. McCloskey has been sharing his fundamental knowledge and game-time wisdom with players and coaches since the early 70's. After a playing career that included Kutztown University McCloskey turned his passion for the game into a successful coaching career highlighted by a trip to the NCAA Division III Final Four in 1997.

The Jack McCloskey Basketball Camp has been on campus at Alvernia College in Reading, Pa., for the past 15 years. The Physical Education Center has been the on-court classroom for some of the game's greatest young players including "Rip" Hamilton, of the World Champion Detroit Pistons and the 2003 College Player of the Year, Jameer Nelson.

This begins our 38th year of camps. An outstanding camp has a few consistent elements: experienced staff, emphasis on learning and playing, excellent planning & organization, and superior facilities.

Alvernia College provides a tremendous opportunity for us to run a very successful camp. As the former Head Men's Basketball Coach at Alvernia College, and with 37 years experience at running camps, I have the knowledge, experience, and trainded staff to provide a great camp experience for your son or daughter.
